BONEYARD
A MESS
Wednesday 18.00
A Mess is rock ’n’ riot grrrl armed with electric guitar and an arsenal of catchy hooks, infectious melodies, and a “don’t give a fuck” attitude—as if The Breeders gave birth to Wet Leg and left the upbringing to Pussy Riot.
HARD LESSONS
Wednesday 16.00
The hardcore crew Hard Lessons from Aalborg brings a no-compromise, “kick ass and chew bubblegum” attitude. They hit the audience hard with a solid and effective sonic assault that can send a pit from 0 to 100 in just seconds!
SEWER HAUL
Thursday 18.00
A two-man goregrind band that crawled up from the Danish sewers in 2023. It doesn’t get much filthier than this, as the sound of smashed riffs and trash-can snare drums tear through your guts.
COMMIE COWBOYS
Thurday 16.00
Commie Cowboys is a punk rock band from the scene surrounding Ungdomshuset (The Youth House) in Copenhagen, now resurrected after a long hiatus. With a style inspired by old U.S. hardcore bands from the ’80s and a hefty dose of Motörhead, there’s no fluff, no unnecessary notes, and nothing irrelevant. Fast, hard, and straight to the bone!
PLANET Y
Friday 18.00
Catchy, pogo-friendly, and tight as a clenched fist. Planet Y consists of seasoned forces from Copenhagen’s underground, drawing inspiration equally from classic ’70s punk and the melodic K-Town sound of the 2000s. Their personal and dystopian lyrics come across as defiant battle cries against authority, delivered with an insistent energy you simply can’t stand still to!
WOES
Friday 16:00
WOES plays uncompromising Scandinavian dark hardcore with elements of crust punk, post-hardcore, and emoviolence. Their music is inspired by the Nordic nature’s meeting point between beauty and brutality.
PUKE WOLF
Saturday 16:00
Puke Wolf is emotional post-hardcore from Aarhus, fiercely transforming frustration, disgust, and desperation into a sonic explosion. Their music balances on the edge between chaos and control, where noisy aggression and melancholic beauty meet in constant tension. All three members scream and shout with distinct voices. It’s supposed to hurt!
GRAVA
Saturday 18:00
Grava plays crushingly heavy and atmospheric sludge metal. The soundscape is a mix of abyssal guitar riffs, pulsing basslines, and doomsday drums, clashing with two downright filthy vocals.
COWBOYS FROM HELLBERTA
This year, Boneyard has its very own house band, bringing dusty desert vibes to the heart of hell. Every day at 14:00, the Canadian cowboys from The Bobby Tenderloin Universe transform into The Cowboys from HellBerta and deliver solid, heavy metal-inspired western mythology. The band has traveled all the way from Alberta, Canada to COPENHELL 2025 with saddlebags full of cover songs, surprises and tricks hidden up the sleeves of their cowboy shirts. The Bobby Tenderloin Universe kicks off the party and rouses even the most hungover cattle driver in the Boneyard.
TEATER LUX
Every day from 13:00 to 16:00
Teater Lux presents a site-specific immersive audio theatre experience in complete darkness.
The Return of the Iron Ghouls is a dark tale of heavy metal, loyalty and a group of former B&W workers who were forced into slavery in Hell by Lucifer after their deaths. No longer wanting to be slaves, they return to their old hunting grounds on Refshaleøen in search of raw untamed power, human blood and energy. COPENHELL has an abundance of what they need to build strength and weaponry to end Lucifers rule and reinstate anarchy in Hell.
The Return of the Iron Ghouls transforms the interior of a 20ft container into a surreal, otherworldly, dreamlike realm that exists entirely in your mind. How you arrived is a mystery and what will unfold is unclear.
Performed in complete darkness over 13 minutes, this intense and exhilarating experience uses binaureal 3D sound, real-life acting and live-mixed music performances with classic heavy metal anthems to deceive the senses and transport audience members through time and space. How your story unfolds is, in part, up to you, but are you safe from the unspeakable horrors which lurk in the dark recesses of your own mind?

After consuming a meal consisting of the flame-grilled heart and liver of the rook, you’ll no doubt experience renewed strength and wisdom – and be fully ready to conquer the rest of the festival.
To remain sharp-eyed and protected, you’ll also craft an amulet from the bird’s claws, beak or feathers. The powers of Hugin and Munin will then watch over you until we meet again next year.
You can also try your hand at making a pair of mini Ravenclaw ear danglers.
Stop by Udgaard for an educational, authentic and wildly delicious taste experience.
ULFHEDNIR
Every day at 14:00
In the shadow of Copenhagen’s rooftops in Vesterbro, the Ulfhednir Combat Group was formed in 1994 by a gathering of brothers and sisters driven by the call of blood and the power of spirit.
They took the name Ulfhednir – “those who wear wolf pelts” – inspired by the legendary and fearless berserkers.
Since the ’90s, the group has grown beyond its attic origins and now counts around 60 members, some wearing the marks of the early days, others new. All have specialized in intense combat training and living interpretation of Viking-era warrior culture, both brutal and fascinating.
At COPENHELL 2025, Ulfhednir brings ancient legends to life with raw strength and historical passion.
Get close to the world of the vikings – feel the pulse, the sweat and the raw spirit of war as Ulfhednir takes the stage.
