COPENHELL 2024: FIRST BANDS ON THE POSTER

The first 22 bands are ready for the COPENHELL 2024 festival poster: DROPKICK MURPHYS, MACHINE HEAD, DIE KRUPPS, HIGH ON FIRE, MADBALL, HARDY, SHADOW OF INTENT, KHEMMIS, FU MANCHU, LACK, 1349, HEXIS, ZULU, NAKKEKNAEKKER, ENFORCED, JUNGLE ROT, PLAGUEMACE, SANGUISUGABOGG, INSANITY ALERT, KNIFE, DVNE and MAKE THEM SUFFER. The festival takes place on June 19-22, 2024 – ticket sales will open via Ticketmaster on October 6 at 10:00.

The COPENHELL 2024 audience can look forward to lots of new and great experiences next year. The 13th version of COPENHELL is launched with no less than 22 wild and heavy bands, with only one (DROPKICK MURPHYS) having performed at the festival before.

”The first bands for next year’s COPENHELL belong to the hard end of the scale. It will be heavy, it will be fast, it will be evil – and it will be great! It’s a long time ago that we had the pleasure to announce so many bands that have never visited the festival before, and we’re only just getting started on the full COPENHELL 2024 line-up. We look forward to presenting a broad, hard and strong line-up for next year’s festival over the coming months,” says festival director Jeppe Nissen.

DROPKICK MURPHYS will return to the festival with their incredibly entertaining Irish-Ameican punk rock, and mighty MACHINE HEAD will appear at COPENHELL for the very first time after an almost decade-long festival break. They are joined by both established and new bands from a great variety of hard genres – black, death, thrash, hardcore and doom, among others – and this is just the first wave of the full line-up that will count more than 70 bands on four stages in four days.

Over the years, COPENHELL has grown into a big rock and metal festival that pays tribute to the past, represents the present and paves the way for the future. Metal and rock culture is famous for its enormous respect for the cornerstones that have contributed to creating and building the metal scene over the years, a strong shared wish to experience presently popular bands and not least support future talents and help them break through. COPENHELL is the essence of this culture when the festival gathers a hellish horde of music fans on the festival site’s blacked concrete in the middle of Copenhagen in Denmark.

COPENHELL 2024 ticket sales will open via Ticketmaster on Friday, October 6 at 10:00.
